Ultrasound Exposimetry: An Essential Component of Ultrasonic Device Characterization

In 1988, IEEE Transactions on Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics, and Frequency Control (TUFFC) hosted a Special Issue Ultrasound Exposimetry (vol. 35, no. 2). This issue is now recognized as seminal; it laid the groundwork for development of numerous domestic international standards that are still widely used calibration regulatory characterization ultrasound devices. Since then, medical has undergone significant expansion, time right sequel. The Guest Editors delighted to present nine contributions this Spotlight Advances in Exposimetry.
